Card Q&A
-
Q1523
Mar. 28, 2024
- When this Digimon digivolves onto a Tamer card, does the Tamer card’s [Security] effect become an inherited effect?
- No, Tamer cards' [Security] effects aren't inherited effects. Some Tamer cards do have inherited effects, and those can be activated when such cards are placed in digivolution cards.
-
Q1524
Mar. 28, 2024
- Instead of a Tamer card, can I digivolve this card onto a level 3 Digimon that meets the digivolution requirements?
- Yes, you can.
-
Q1525
Mar. 28, 2024
- After a Tamer card ends up in this Digimon's digivolution cards, is that card affected by effects that trash digivolution cards?
-
Yes, it is.
However, if the effect specifies Digimon cards, Digi-Egg cards, or any other type of card that isn't a Tamer card, it can't be targeted by that effect.
-
Q1526
Mar. 28, 2024
- If I digivolve this card on top of a Tamer card, do I still get the digivolution bonus?
- Yes, you do. Even if you digivolve using a Tamer card, make sure to draw 1 card as the digivolution bonus.
-
Q1527
Mar. 28, 2024
- Can I attack the turn I digivolve this card on top of a Tamer card?
- Yes. Digivolution doesn't count as “playing” a card, so you can attack that turn.
-
Q1528
Mar. 28, 2024
- I play a Tamer card, then digivolve it into this Digimon. Can I then attack with that Digimon during that same turn?
- No. Since it's the first turn the Tamer was played, the limitation for attacking on the first turn a card is played still applies.
-
Q1529
Mar. 28, 2024
- If I've digivolved this card on top of a Tamer card and the Digimon is deleted, what happens to the Tamer card?
- It’s trashed.
-
Q4640
Apr. 4, 2025
- Can I choose to not digivolve with this card's 1st effect?
-
No, you can't.
For this card's 1st effect, you declare a digivolution, then upon revealing this card, you can also choose a Tamer as the card to digivolve, and that Tamer is also treated as a level 3 Digimon. As with the normal digivolution procedure, after revealing this card and declaring a digivolution, you can't choose to not digivolve.
In addition, you can't declare digivolution into this card in the first place unless there is a card on the field that you can digivolve.

- Can I attack the turn I digivolve this card on top of a Tamer card?
- Yes. Digivolution doesn't count as “playing” a card, so you can attack that turn.

- I play a Tamer card, then digivolve it into this Digimon. Can I then attack with that Digimon during that same turn?
- No. Since it's the first turn the Tamer was played, the limitation for attacking on the first turn a card is played still applies.

- If I've digivolved this card on top of a Tamer card and the Digimon is deleted, what happens to the Tamer card?
- It’s trashed.

You may digivolve this card from your hand onto one of your purple Tamers as if the Tamer is a level 3 purple Digimon for a memory cost of 2.
[When Digivolving] If a card with [Hybrid] in its traits or [Koichi Kimura] is in this Digimon's digivolution cards, this Digimon gains <Retaliation> until the end of your opponent's next turn. (When this Digimon is deleted after losing a battle, delete the Digimon it was battling.)
