What is the new rule, <Link>?
It’s a rule added to the game starting with “WORLD CONVERGENCE” that can be used by the new “Appmon” trait cards!
“Appmon” trait Digimon in your battle area can link with each other to power up by using link effects and getting DP increases!

Tai Kamiya

When your Digimon attacks you can suspend this Tamer card to <Draw 1>, letting you fill up your hand.
In addition, the [Main] effect lets you play Digimon and Tamer cards, making it a powerful card usable at various times, such as early in the game if you don’t have Tamer cards in enough colors, or to turn things around later in the game.
Greymon

The [On Play]/[When Digivolving] effect allows you to force an opponent Digimon into attacking if you have a Tamer card in play named “Tai Kamiya” or that has the “ADVENTURE” trait. This single card helps to <Blast Digivolve> into a level 6 Digimon ACE.
You can also gain the <Reboot> effect from inherited effects which allows that Digimon to attack and then be prepared to defend when the opponent attacks.
WarGreymon

Since it gains 1000 DP for each color your Digimon and Tamer cards have, its possible for the [When Digivolving] effect, which can delete an opponent Digimon with a lower DP, to take out even larger opponents.
The ADVENUTRE deck that made a debut with ST-20 and ST-21, is back strengthened with cards from BT-21!
At the start you’ll want to collect the cards you'll need and play “BT21-102 Tai Kamiya”, which lets you play another Tamer card, to help you get Tamer cards in 3 or more colors in play.
In the mid to late game use the level 4 Digimon effects that help to digivolve and the <Alliance> keyword effect of the level 5 Digimon to carry out powerful attack tactics. Then use “BT21-067 Garurumon” which can retrieve “ADVENTURE” trait cards from your trash to help you get a level 6 Digimon ACE in hand, while “BT21-057 Greymon” forces the opponent into an attack to strengthen the path to <Blast Digivolve>.
If in a tight spot you can use the [Main] effect of “BT21-102 Tai Kamiya” to play Digimon and keep the opponent at bay. If you get enough colors of Tamer cards in play you can also use that to suddenly send out a level 6 Digimon ACE, which is powerful!
Test out the strength of this “ADVENTURE” deck with new possibilities thanks to the BT-21 cards added!

Siriusmon

It’s a powerful attacker with <Security A, +1> and <Raid>.
The [When Digivolving]/[When Attacking] effect lets you place 1 Digimon card with Gammamon in the name or the “Hero” trait as the bottom digivolution card, and then delete your opponent’s Digimon that has the lowest DP. Since this effect doesn’t have a once per turn limit, you can keep adding to the digivolution cards while pairing this effect with <Raid> to steadily take out your opponent’s Digimon!
Taiki Kudo

Its [Start of Your Main Phase] effect lets you place one “Blue Flare” or “Hero” trait Digimon under this Tamer to draw 1 card and gain 1 memory. Also, on your turn if your Digimon digivolves into one with the “Xros Heart” or “Hero” trait, you can rest this Tamer card to allow that Digimon to attack! This Tamer gives you a chance to attack even as the memory moves to your opponent’s side!
Shoutmon X7: Superior Mode

It’s able to extremely weaken an opponent’s Digimon using its effect that can trash 10 digivolution cards. Its strength is that unlike <De-Digivolve> this effect can even trash level 3 cards.
This Digimon gives you the power to break through opponent’s Digimon that regular deletion does not work on.
The protagonists come together! This deck lets you meet all the Digimon and Tamers with the Hero trait together!
This deck’s main battle power comes from cards like “BT21-045 ShineGreymon” and “BT21-028 Siriusmon”. You will play the cards with the aim of digivolving into these 2 Digimon.
Early in the game you’ll want to search for needed cards and get Tamers to support your side from underneath, like “BT21-083 Taiki Kudo” and “BT21-088 Tagiru Akashi”, played. It’ll be important to meet the conditions for “BT21-040 Agumon” and “BT21-010 Gabumon” to warp digivolve, meaning having 3 Tamer cards with different names in play.
From mid-game you’ll want “BT21-072 Arreserdramon: Superior Mode” attacking your opponent’s Digimon and Security cards. Then using the effect of “BT21-088 Tagiru Akashi” to increase the number of digivolution cards as you digivolve your Digimon, you can raise the DP making it able to take down even giant Digimon!
Later in the game you can use “BT21-028 Siriusmon”, “BT21-045 ShineGreymon”, and “BT21-086 Marcus Damon” together to delete your opponent’s Digimon by attacking all at once!
Enjoy this special deck that gathers the power of the heroes!

Gaiamon

It has the keyword effect <Blocker>, and the new <Link +1> which raise the Link card limit to 2.
The [When Digivolving]/[When Attacking] effect lets you link a card from this Digimon’s digivolution cards or your hand that has the “Appmon” trait to 1 of your Digimon without paying the cost.
In addition, when your Digimon link you can unsuspend this Digimon to trash 1 of the opponent’s Security cards.
If attacking while linked you can also activate powerful link effects, like that of “BT21-023 Globemon”, to greatly reduce your opponent’s Security cards!
Haru Shinkai

To start, it has the familiar [Start of Your Turn] effect that sets your memory to 3 if it was less.
It also has a unique effect that lets you suspend this Tamer card when you link your Digimon to <Draw 1>, and then if the conditions are met you can app fuse your Digimon!
This is the perfect support Tamer for Appmon decks since it regains memory and lets you app fuse even if linked!
Appmon and friends from “Digimon Universe: App Monsters” finally join the Digimon Card Game! It strengthens Digimon using the new mechanic “Link” and “Appmon” trait, and has a new feel in battle as you keep app fusing to a higher grade.
To start you want to search for the cards you'll need and play “BT21-084 Haru Shinkai” to support app fusing your Digimon.
Also, you can use the cards in your hand to link, which raises the DP, allowing even small Digimon to battle and activate various effects.
Once prepared you can have “DoGatchmon” and “Timemon” app fuse into the Ultimate Grade “BT21-023 Globemon”! Activate its powerful effects to delete opponent Digimon, and link to the digivolution card “BT21-018 DoGatchmon” to also attack normally. Perfect to greatly reduce the opponent’s security!
When the end looks near have “Globemon” and “Callismon” app fuse into the God Grade “BT21-101 Gaiamon”! Link 2 cards to it to break through the remaining security cards and win! “BT21-073 Callismon” has a link effect that can prevent its deletion, strengthening your defenses with this huge <Blocker> with DP20000!
Jump into the new age of Digimon Card Game with Appmon and friends, and grab victory firmly!

Medusamon

It includes the specialized keyword effect <Progress> which gives Medusamon immunity to the effects of opponent Digimon while it is attacking.
The [When Digivolving]/[End of Attack] effect is also powerful for removing opponent Digimon. It can attack without being effected by the opponent’s effects, as well as delete one of the opponent Digimon.
There’s also the [All Turns] effect that can make the opponent play a Petrification Token whenever one of the opponent’s Digimon is deleted, or the opponent’s Security cards decrease. This Token also has an effect that when it is deleted, it also deletes its own Security card, so by making lots of them appear you can steadily reduce your opponent's Security!
Owen Dreadnought

In addition to the familiar memory increasing [Start of Your Main Phase] effect, it also has an [End of Your Turn] effect which gives 1 of your Digimon with the trait “Reptile” or “Dragonkin” <Piercing> and then that Digimon can attack.
This Tamer card makes it easier to use the effects of “BT21-029 Medusamon” that activate when the opponent’s security is reduced!
Flamedramon

This deck makes use of <Progress> to safely attack and activate a variety of effects when an opponent’s Security is reduced, making it an aggressive deck type. Early in the game you want to digivolve your Digimon into powerful attackers and then play “BT21-081 Owen Dreadnought” to increase the tempo and performance of your attacks. Once done digivolving to level 5 you start or focus on attacking! While reducing the opponent’s security, use the effect of “BT21-001 Gigimon” to digivolve into “BT21-029 Medusamon”, using the [End of Attack] effect to place a Petrification Token and further reduce the opponent’s Security cards. Towards the end use the combo of “BT21-024 Cyberdramon”, and “BT21-093 Raging Serpentine” to help digivolve into “BT21-026 WarGreymon” and use “BT21-081 Owen Dreadnought” to give it <Piercing> to make a decisive attack. Use the various tactics as you like and then deliver the final blow!
