Q2158
If this card has a Tamer card in its digivolution cards, does that Tamer card’s [Security] effect become an inherited effect?Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2158
No, Tamer cards' [Security] effects aren't inherited effects. Some Tamer cards do have inherited effects, and those can be activated when such cards are placed in digivolution cards.
Q2159
Instead of a Tamer card, can I digivolve this card onto a level 3 Digimon that meets the digivolution requirements?Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2159
Yes, you can.
Q2160
After this card's effect causes a Tamer card to end up in its digivolution cards, is that card affected by effects that trash digivolution cards?Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2160
Yes, it is. However, if the effect specifies Digimon cards, Digi-Egg cards, or any other type of card that isn't a Tamer card, it can't be targeted by that effect.
Q2161
If I digivolve this card on top of a Tamer card, do I still get the digivolution bonus? Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2161
Yes, you do. Even if you digivolve onto a Tamer card, make sure to draw 1 card as the digivolution bonus.
Q2162
Can I attack during the turn I digivolve this card on top of a Tamer card? Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2162
Yes. Digivolution doesn't count as “playing” a card, so you can attack that turn.
Q2163
On the turn I have played a Tamer, I digivolve it into this Digimon. During that same turn, can this Digimon attack? Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2163
No. Digimon cannot attack on the turn they were played, and because the Tamer was played that turn, the restriction still applies to the Digimon that digivolved onto it.
Q2164
If I've digivolved this card on top of a Tamer card and the Digimon is deleted, what happens to the Tamer card?Mar. 28, 2024 Updated
A2164
It’s trashed.
Q4654
Can I choose to not digivolve with this card's 1st effect?Apr. 4, 2025 Updated
A4654
No, you can't.
For this card's 1st effect, you declare a digivolution, then upon revealing this card, you can also choose a Tamer as the card to digivolve, and that Tamer is also treated as a level 3 Digimon. As with the normal digivolution procedure, after revealing this card and declaring a digivolution, you can't choose to not digivolve.
In addition, you can't declare digivolution into this card in the first place unless there is a card on the field that you can digivolve.
