Greetings to all the Digimon Card Game (DigiCa) Tamers all over the world, I'm Rui Lang, the development producer for DigiCa. I hope you've been enjoying DigiCa.
This is my first time working as the producer for DigiCa, but together with all the other development team members, who have a wealth of experience and knowledge, we’ve got our heads down and are working on how to make it even better. We're always asking ourselves, "how can we make DigiCa even more fun?" and "how can we make DigiCa a game that even more people can enjoy?"
I hope you’ll all keep supporting us!

BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27
BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 kicked off in Jakarta the other day, and upcoming tournaments will be held in 11 cities around the world including Singapore, Shanghai, Orlando, London, and Tokyo.
Each location will have an array of events, gifts, special products, as well as plenty of other things for Tamers to enjoy.
And, if you’re lucky, there may even be a bunch of new world-first reveals. Definitely come and take a look!
These tournaments will also see Tamers with decks inspired by many different themes and series, from the Royal Knights, Seven Great Demon Lords, DIGIMON BEATBREAK, DIGIMON DATA SQUAD, to Digimon Story Time Stranger and more, putting it all on the line in a bid to become the #1 Tamer in the world at the World Championship Season 2.
I'm filled with excitement just thinking about all the different decks battling it out under one roof!
No Tamer will want to pass this up!
Upcoming new releases
The official DigiCa Times program aired yesterday, October 15th (Thu.). Did you all enjoy it?
I'd be ecstatic if this show made you even a bit more excited about our upcoming DigiCa lineup.
During the show, we revealed some of the cards and illustrations for our upcoming IGNITION OF X, MALEVOLENT VII, and ABYSS OF X sets.
The lineups will be hot, with tons of popular Digimon releasing all the way through March next year.
We hope all Tamers will build their own ultimate decks with their favorite Digimon!
But that’s not all...
We also showed information on products coming in April 2027 and beyond. This included starter decks based on Digimon Adventure 02 and the 25th anniversary of Digimon Frontier, as well as a new Booster Pack, [BT-29], based on the Digimon World series.
2027 is shaping up to be a major milestone, as it will be the 30th anniversary of Digimon. We hope everyone will celebrate this very special year with us!
Finally, we revealed a new illustration for a character from DIGIMON LIBERATOR, Yuuki.
I wonder where this illustration might be used...?
Well, this will stay a secret for a little longer, but there’ll be more information coming soon!
Of course, there’s more coming than just the products shown off here.
We're getting a ton of products ready for 2027, and we’re sure they'll meet or exceed those from 2026.
There will be even more things that will make you think, "we're getting this?!"
All of us on the development team will try our best to bring you products that you'll definitely want to try, ones that’ll make you glad you did.
Upcoming ban/restriction updates
A new card ban/restriction update was implemented on September 1 (Tue.), 2026.
We've launched a page that shows details on why, as well as the thoughts behind our decisions for each of the cards in this update. I hope you'll check it out.
Tamers have given us a wide range of feedback on the banned/restricted cards. We take all of your feedback seriously, and we'll keep using it to shape the future meta.
Our goal is to build a meta where everyone can have fun in DigiCa while battling alongside their favorite partner Digimon, one where all types of Digimon have their time to shine.
My team and I will continue to strive toward an ever more exciting DigiCa, and we hope for your continued support.
DIGIMON ALYSION
The DIGIMON ALYSION development team has got some big news to share with you:Pre-registration for DIGIMON ALYSION is set to start within the next few weeks! We apologize for the long wait!
This game is being developed to bring the fun of DigiCa to even more people.Since its reveal, the reactions at various event's test demos and on social media have shown us in the DigiCa development team that many fans are looking forward to the official release of DIGIMON ALYSION.
Now, the DIGIMON ALYSION development team is working passionately on the game so that many people can enjoy it in a stable environment. We hope you’re looking forward to it!

I'm extremely grateful to all the Tamers who have continued to support DigiCa for all this time. I'd like to thank everyone for helping us reach our 7th year of DigiCa.

Back at the BANDAI CARD GAMES NEXT PLAN Announcement in June, I said that I want DigiCa to be a title that continues for another 10, or even 20 years, and that I want to make it even more exciting.
That wasn't just something I said at the time.
We, the development team, are seriously working toward this goal, and in order to achieve it, we must make sure that DigiCa is more fun than ever.
Tamers' voices are the most valuable resource we have in working toward this. We received a ton of responses to the survey we conducted recently, and we thank you for your support.
We consider the opinions you voice to us very carefully and try to implement them into the development of DigiCa whenever we can. Your voices give DigiCa the power to continue digivolving.
We'll make sure that Tamers all over the world feel that DigiCa is fun, even 10 or 20 years from now. I hope you’ll join us in shaping the future of DigiCa.
